Why can't I get my background to change!!!!!

Awesome Day

Back in November I jokingly asked my friend Stacy if I could be in the delivery room.  To my surprise she said sure if you want to film it for us.  I said of course!!  Her due date was at the end of January so I was so excited to get to be in there with her & her husband.  During one of her appointments they found out that the baby was breach of course I was not happy.  At the next appointment she had turned & it was a go for me to be there.  At the beginning of the month Stacy's doctor didn't think she would make it to her induction date of the 18th.  I was pretty bummed that I wouldn't be there.  If she were to go in on her own before that I probably wouldn't have been able to get off of work.  My bosses wife had just had her baby on Jan 1st & was going to be off for 2 weeks!  That was really making be nervous. 

Stacy & her husband Chris went in last nite at 7pm.  They started her on cervadil at 9pm.  I had my alarm set for 5am so I could shower & be ready to leave by 6.  Well to my surprise she sent me a text at 4:36am & was at 5-6 cm.  I jumped out of bed & told her I would get ready.  I brushed my teeth, started my car & started packing by stuff to take with me.  I go back to check my phone at 4:40 & I have another text from her.  It says "Can u come up asap.  Chris passed out & hit his head."  By this time I am freaking out!!  I am out the door by 4:47.  Running stop lights & speeding like a mad woman trying to get to the Women's Hospital which should be a 30 min drive but only took me 20.  Thank goodness I was praying the entire way.  Chris got back to the room by 6 so that way I didn't have to play the part of coach. 

This wonderful little girl Hadley Lynn was born at 8:49am 21 in 7lbs 6oz & a head full of dark hair!  Seeing a baby being born was a totally awesome experience.  I'm so glad they let me be apart of their special day!  I am a great videographer so who wants me to video their birth!!!  Hahaha!

Volleyball

Kelsey played volleyball this year.  She was on the JV team at Central.  She played very well & had a lot of great serves.  They still have one regular game for the season on Monday & then the tournament starts.

Soccer

Maddie played soccer this year.  She was on the B/Reserve team.  They had a good season not sure what their record was. 

Almost over....

Well Kelsey's years of middle school are almost over.  One week from today she will graduate from 8th grade.  I am already having a hard time not crying just sitting around thinking about it.  I am not ready for her to go to the big scary high school!!!!   I know she will do fine but just knowing that another 4 years  she will be off to college.....YIKES!!!  

On another note Kelsey & Maddie will both be very busy this summer with basketball camps (2 for each) & then Kelsey goes to volleyball camp also.  Maddie will have her first over night camp at USI for 3 days.  Then of course conditioning for all sports goes on all summer long.  They will be very fit when school comes around in August.  Maybe I need to attend those also....doubt it!  

Hopefully I will have my kitchen remodeled this summer.  Can't tell you how excited I am to have wood cabinets & not the old metal ones.  And I get a dishwasher too!!!  Thank you Brian for almost burning your house down so I can get some upgrades...jk!!  That's all for now.....

Almost here......

Lindsay's wedding is 5 days away!!  Wow can't believe that it is finally here. 

Kelsey will be graduating from 8th grade on May 25th.  Holy cow not ready for her to be in high school...YIKES!!!

Saturday

Well it's another Saturday.  The girls both stayed the nite with friends last nite so I was at home alone.  I watched Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler but of course was falling asleep by 7:30.  I am such the partier...woo hoo!!  I ended up sleeping on the couch all nite.  So now it's Saturday morning & I am doing laundry (per Kelsey's request via text message) & reading a book.  Just going to relax before I have to be at work at 4.  Have a good weekend everyone!!
